The Future in Pharmaceuticals Ireland 2022 conference & tradeshow and taking place when the pharmaceutical processing industry has never been more important to Ireland and to the world. Water is one of the major commodities used by the pharmaceutical industry as a raw material, ingredient, and solvent in the processing, formulation, and manufacture of pharmaceutical products, active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and intermediates, and analytical reagents. The reduction of water consumption and focus on wastewater treatment is a growing trend in the pharmaceutical industry driven by a number of factors including increasing demand, cost and legislation to name but a few.

We also partner with IDRO Group who develop mobile and containerised water and wastewater purification systems for municipal and industrial use cases  – these made-to-order, modular water treatment plants are ideal for emergency, temporary, semi-permanent and permanent solutions.

Pharmaceutical water treatment requires removing contaminants from municipal drinking water to meet USP standards and this is one of the themes at the Future in Pharmaceuticals Ireland 2022 Conference & Exhibition taking place on the 6th July in Croke Park.
